I can't believe it's been 2 years! January 21st 2010 was the best day of my life! I will speak for my husband and I know it was his too!
We have been saving up for a house so things have been tight with money lately. We didnt really have plans for our anniversary until our good friends invited us to a cabin near Lava Hot Springs! We said "heck yes!" We probably would of just gone to dinner anyways. So We split food and gas and it turned out to be a really cheap, yet fun weekend get-a-way! I don't think I took any pictures of Russell and I though:( I was taking pics of everyone else haha! oh well!
I guess I did take a picture of us! And...I have a mustache on..

I'm me again!
I won't ramble on like I did in those last few blogs, but I know I left some hanging on what happened next. I'm not telling these stories for sympathy or to make you feel bad for me. That's not it at all! I just wanted to let people know if they have ever been through those small trials like me that there is always blessings in the end! For example, I ran the Las Vegas Ragnar race, came home, went to the doctors again and they diagnosed me with Hypothyroidisim/Hashimoto's THAT EXPLAINS ALOT! I knew I would get it eventually.. but of course I hoped I wouldn't. My grandpa, mom, and sister have it. My mom, sister and I have an auto-immune disease which makes anit-bodies attack my thyroid and try to kill it! I was tested many times in the past years, as I had mentioned in my other blogs. Sometimes blood tests just show up negative. If you are feeling not yourself, tired, achy, depressed, bad memory, dry scalp and skin just go get tested! Its SO EASY! Just a simple blood test. And all the treatment is, is a small pill everyday. I feel almost %100 better! Almost. I think my memory/forgetfulness is still trying to work its self out! Haha! And can I tell you one of the most wonderful things too about being treated finally? I don't fall asleep at 8pm anymore! (which is not a bad thing) but I can actually stay up until 12 sometimes and watch a movie with my husband! Or go on a double date and be able to go hang out later, then, just going home at 9pm because I can't keep my eyes open. It's wonderful to be me again! GO GET YOUR BLOOD TESTED.

Vegas Ragnar 2011
Training for the Vegas Ragnar was very interesting, taken we only had 2 months to train for it! But we were so excited. As it got closer the more tired I got. To the point 3 miles felt like 10 miles. I wasn't getting the "runner's high" anymore. More like, "Runner's gonna die". ;)Of course, I was worried about Russell too but he was feeling great! He had his enhaler with him everytime he trained.
Vegas came by way too fast. My legs were 3.5 miles, 4.5 miles, and 7 miles. So not too bad! Except for the first and last were in the middle of the day! When I was running my first leg I had 2 miles left and I started to feel cold. Yes that's right cold!!! It was like 85 degrees out! I had my water bottles around my waist so I tried to keep hydrated but all I wanted to do was lay down and fall asleep. The cold chills kept getting worse and I wanted to cry because it was messing with my mind and running is mental with me. I finally reached the exchange and passed the baton (slap wrist braclet) to my mother-in-law.I just started crying to Russell, and hyperventilating... I was freaking out! I called my dad to ask him what that meant and he said that it's heat exhaustion. Oh lovely. I was fine though once I got cool water in me. Then, once my mother-in-law got done running she had the same thing happen! It was so hot! She was fine too.
Everyone ran their legs so good! Russell kept us laughing (and everyone else running Ragnar) of course in his diaper. The spray paint ragtags were a hit. Adam and Russell had stencils of the Ragnar symbol and would spray it on people's calves, arms, backs, and even heads! (shaved heads)
Two days later we crossed the finish line! It was such a blast! We have the best family/team ever! Everyone was such great cheerleaders. Thank you to Adam and Lisa for getting us to Vegas! You guys are the best!!! It was such a great experience! GO RUN BABY RUN! Oh and we won OVER ALL FAVORITE TEAM! They sent us legit Ragnar Batons. We also got the Saints and Sinners medals! SO WORTH IT!
